Purpose of the exhibition
Our 18 collectors will arrive at the Plaza Hotel, Manhattan, New York on October 23rd, 24th and 25th 2020 .
They will see the works, the portfolio and the resume of each artist and will propose the contract to the selected artists.
To date, the average  of  the contracts is around € 140,000 per 3 or 5 years.
Who are we?
Pietro Franesi invented and directed these Biennials
New York Contemporary Art Biennial - 5 editions.
DUBAI ART BIENNIAL - 3 editions.
He makes hundreds of Solo exhibitions and collaborated with emerging and established artists.
Since 2010 he is the first curator for the organization of artistic events in the world.
Today there are more biennials then  artists and we have decided to work directly with collectors, organizing private events for them.
How do we work?
We do not select via  web but we visit the artists where they live by organizing the selections in the various countries.
When we organise national selection the participants pay 50 euro.
With this money we do not become rich.
It only is a mode to help the artists to understand the importance of the selection.
With this small amount we select the number of participating artists. Otherwise we will find hundreds of artists asking to participate.
In addition to seeing the quality of the works, we are interested in understanding the qualities of the person.
We can't go wrong.
We do not accept recommendations from museums, galleries and foundations.
How much do you pay to participate in the New York exhibition?
Zero euros.
Why?
Because we invite the selected artists. We do not select all artists  we will visit.
Why?
We work with the 18 most important collectors in the world, those who spend hundreds of millions at Christie's or Sotheby's to buy established artists.
With us they invest on emerging artists, those  not known by the international market.
Who will pay us?
Collectors after signing the contract. If they don't sign contracts nothing for us.
For this reason we select the artists who have an extra gear, which differ from the crowd.
Your success will also be ours.
So far, 42% of the selected artists have signed the 3 or 5 year contract.
But we want to get to 100%.
Let it be clear that participating in the selection does not mean being selected.
After the selection, will the artists have to pay a fee to participate in the Plaza exhibition?
No, once selected they will not pay any further fees.
Conclusion
Today the contemporary art market has changed radically. Power has passed from galleries and auction houses to collectors. Auction houses without them could sell strawberries and raspberries. Collectors have grown in emerging countries, in Russia, in China, in Arab countries, in India.
With them, art has become a financial product.
Look  the prices achieved by some contemporary artists like Hirst or Koons "are worth more" than Giotto, Manet, Picasso or Warrol.
Today the artists who enter the collections of these billionaires become rich and famous.
